Launched in the UK in 2011, founder Diana Verde Nieto was trained by Al Gore at the Alliance of Climate Protection and has an extensive background in sustainability. HEVEA SIGNS INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT WITH WWF
Hevea is extending its international commitment to supporting the work of the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) to include the UK.
As of 1st February, 2012 Hevea will donate £1 from the sale of every one of its award-winning Panda Teether. Already working successfully in its home market Denmark, Terese Hoffeldt, founder of Hevea says of the agreement, “We have chosen to work together with WWF, as we truly believe in their work for a living planet, which matches Hevea sustainable thinking”.
The ultimate goal is to work with the WWF in each country where Hevea is available.

The Öko Test was established in Germany in 1985 to evaluate and rank consumer products on their effects on their ethical credentials with a particular bias on impact on health and the environment.
